Friendly letters between the two showmen discuss business dealings and acts that they employ, share, or hope to share. Including: Nov. 17 - reference to "the Albinos;" Dec. 2 - Barnum entreats Kimball to go to England with him. He plans to take the "mammoth Negro girl" with him and possibly share the profits if Kimball allows the [Feegee?] mermaid to be exhibited; Dec. 13 & 18 - regarding a shirt and stocking that Barnum is having made for the clown; Dec. - regarding a dispute over the "white Negroes."
